Congratulations to the Groom Boys' and Girls' Cross Country Teams - both advancing to the Region I Cross Country Meet at Mae Simmons Park in Lubbock on Tuesday, October 22.
The Girls' Team (Hope Hickey, Clara Robison, Lacie Wood, Elizabeth Oliveira, and Emily England) placed 3rd overall in District competition at Shamrock. Individually, Hope Hickey placed 3rd and Clara Robison placed 4th. The Boys' Team (Trayson Corley, Kenneth McGinty, Clay Oliveira, Decan Saucedo, and Jake Babcock) placed 2nd overall with Kenneth McGinty placing 4th individually.
