Groom ISD adopted a tax rate that will raise more taxes for maintenance and operations than last year’s tax rate.
The tax rate will effectively be raised by 4.94 percent and will raise taxes for maintenance and operations on a $100,000 home by approximately $32.61.

Grades 3-8 STAAR test results will be posted on the Family Portal at https://www.texasassessment.gov/ today! High school EOC results were posted last week. You should have received an email with instructions to access that portal two weeks ago. Please call the school if you didn't get that email.
End of Course Exam scores (for high school students) will be posted on the Family Portal today! Grades 3-8 results will be posted next Tuesday. You should have received an email with instructions to access that portal last week. Please call the school if you didn't get that email.
Blood Drive Today!
If your student took a STAAR test this year you should be receiving an email (or a letter if we don't have your email) to log into the Family Portal to see results. Results for High School will be posted in the portal on June 10 and grades 3-8 will be posted on June 17.

Correction--Awards Programs and Senior walk are today! Elementary Program is at 8:15 am, Secondary Program is at 9:30 am, and Senior Walk immediately following the Secondary Program.
Seniors need to bring their caps and gowns for the senior walk today. The walk will be right after the secondary awards assembly.
The bus with students from the AR trip is running a few minutes behind and will return to school about 3:40 pm.
